Which markets should a new account open first?
Match result and totals, because both settle on a single official figure and both count towards promotion wagering at standard odds. Both-teams-to-score is a sound third. Multiples multiply the odds and multiply the chance that one leg fails; the slip's potential return does not display that probability. On the accounts we reviewed in the third quarter of 2026, singles-focused bettors kept a positive balance twice as often as accumulator-focused ones.
How does the bet builder price a combination?
The bet builder combines markets from one fixture into a single price, shown on the slip before confirmation; the price is lower than the product of the individual odds because the outcomes are correlated. Markets added after a goal or card are repriced instantly. A bet-builder slip settles as one bet: every leg must win.
When do markets lock?
Pre-match markets close at the scheduled kick-off; live markets lock for a few seconds after goals, cards and video reviews and reopen automatically. During the October 2026 international break, outright markets are repriced weekly on Monday mornings.
